I'm hoping for some kind of improvement with Windows 10 and DirectX 12, but I don't want to wait a month for that. Does anyone have any suggestions, besides telling me to upgrade? I'm kind of jobless and my parents are the last people who'd be willing to spend more than $50 on something for me. The performance isn't horrible - it averages roughly 20 frames per second, and it's still playable by my book, but I wish it were better.

Take Skyrim for example - on my external 1080p monitor and (relatively) high graphics, it runs at roughly 33-37 frames per second at 1080p, and even better on the laptop's built-in 1366x768 display, or the same framerate at very high settings.Ĭities: Skylines, on the other hand, is a little disappointing for me because I have not yet encountered a game that performed bad. Unfortunately, I got it at a time when I had very little knowledge when it came to what I needed to play games but the thing is, this laptop does play whatever I throw at it quite admirably (except for terrifyingly demanding games like Crysis, but I'm not into those games anyway).
